FOR RENT IN THE HEART OF ALKMAAR CENTER LUXURY APARTMENT IN RIJKSMONUMENT!

The House of Zessen, founded in 1510, is Alkmaar's oldest surviving courtyard. It was intended for six old Catholic men. As the last destination, the building was part of the town hall complex.
The facade was rebuilt in the 19th century in neoclassical style. The large empire windows and block plastering date from that time. Inside are some rooms in the neo-Renaissance style: the great hall (1910) and the regents' room (1922).

The hofje, a national monument, is located in the center of Alkmaar in the Schoutenstraat between the Langestraat and the Laat.
The building has been recently renovated inside and out into a unique building with eight apartments. Some of them will retain the monumental status.

This concerns the apartment on the ground floor, one of the so-called period rooms: 'The Yellow Room'. In addition, there are also many authentic details present on the walls and ceiling. It is a large and high space of over 51 m2 with a space created in the middle for the bathroom and the kitchen. This is equipped with built-in appliances: refrigerator, dishwasher, ceramic hob with extractor and a combination microwave. The bathroom has a sink, shower, toilet and washing machine connection. A sleeping area has been created on the other side of the kitchen-bathroom layout. This apartment has a private terrace at the rear.

Parking is via a permit from the municipality. There is a shared bicycle shed behind the complex.
Particularities:
- Available for a rental period of at least twelve months, then indefinitely;
- The rent is exclusive of 125, - euro service costs p / m (concerns reimbursement of the advance use of gas / water / electricity, TV and internet);
- The deposit is equal to one month's rent;
- The apartment is not suitable for children and pets;
- No smoking indoors.
